Need an excuse to spend time on the beach? Looking for a way to build your child’s confidence in the water? Then join a surf life saving club. If you'd like more information about getting involved at Henley SLSC, you can email the Club Secretary.

Competition

There are many competition areas available including:

Board Paddling	Ski Paddling
Surf Boat Rowing	Beach Flags and Sprints
Surf Swimming	First Aid
Rescue and Resuscitation	Surfing
Inflatable Rescue Boat Competition and more

People compete in Surf Life Saving from the ages of 7 right through to 70 years old, in both the male and female categories. You are not obliged to compete.

Henley also undertakes regular club trips interstate to compete in interstate carnivals and Australian Surf Life Saving Championships.

Training

Henley offers training and coaching sessions in all areas of competition, which includes Swimming, Running, Gym, Board & Ski Paddling. For those who wish to compete or just simply keep fit.
