Henley SLSC HET program    

HET is the “Henley Extreme Team”. Once someone has finished Juniors or are 14 years of age they are eligible to join the HET team. The HET program is a social activity program not a competition program. 

How it began 

In 2006 it was highlighted that there was a gap between the Juniors programme and the seniors at Henley SLSC. Because of that, the Henley SLSC decided that it needed developed and now supports a programme called the “HET crew”. 

What do they do and who can join? 

Anyone can join between the ages of 14-17 years of age. 

This group is involved in a range of activities including: 

Annual surf camp, end of year dinner, movie nights, disco’s, water cover and coaching for the clubs juniors every Saturday between 2-4 pm and other activities. 

So when you see some teenagers doing water cover, coaching Juniors or just making themselves useful, they are more than likely one of Henley SLSC’s HET crew.
