West Beach Community Bank Henley SLSC ‘BIG ROW’

Henley Surf Life Saving Club is undertaking its annual major fundraising event ‘The West Beach Community Bank Big Row’ on 12 February which involves a collaborative effort from club members rowing 68km across the Gulf St Vincent from Stansbury to Henley Beach.   

All money raised from the Big Row will contribute toward the $500,000 + that the Club still needs to contribute toward our new club rooms, with demolition and construction for the new building expected to commence in April / May 2011. 

Henley SLSC is fortunate to have retained West Beach and Districts Community Bank as Principal Sponsor for the Big Row in 2011.

There are currently no Surf Life Saving Clubs on the Yorke Peninsula, so as part of this event we run a Beach Safety session for the students of Stansbury Primary school, to give them the opportunity to participate in one of Henley’s Junior's sessions.
